Earthformed family of blogs, 1
March 17th, 2008 | by lucero |I’ve been working on this blog for a couple of weeks now and am finding some really cool plugins and widgets on Wordpress.org. Currently, I am working on implementing a hack I found on their site that will allow me to install multiple WP blogs in one database and use a common user table. This means that whichever of my sites you register with you will automatically have access to post comments on all my other sites.
Eventually I will have:
blog.earthformed.com
garden.earthformed.com
food.earthformed.com
glas.earthformed.com
clay.earthformed.com
The problem I am having right now (no biggie, just annoying) is that in implementing this hack all my other blog sites do not have my Post Author drop down available. I haven’t been able to figure out how to fix that. Waiting on a reply from fellow WP users.
Also, I am going to install PHPWebGallery to work in conjunction with my WP installations. This will be a nice way to upload and share my albums of photos.
