Noxicare Natural Topical Pain Relief Solution Review

Noxicare Natural Topical Pain Relief Solution

As someone who suffers with chronic pain finding a natural topical pain relief solution is always a goal. Over the past 15 years I’ve had pain in my neck, back, hips, knees, elbows, wrists and hands and soles of my feet on a regular basis. Thanks to Tomoson and Truceuticals I was given the opportunity to try a natural topical pain relief cream called Noxicare.

I am not one to pop pills constantly and I’ve learned through the news and recent studies that this is a good habit to avoid because of possible damage to the liver. The suggestion is to find a localized topical pain relief solution to deliver medicine directly at the source of the problem. Personally, I still don’t like to use anything synthetic if I can help it. I really dislike the creams that have a strong menthol smell because it isn’t something I’d want to have on me out in public and my husband and kids find the odor offensive.

When I received my tube of Noxicare the description caught my eye: “Specially formulated for joint, nerve, and musculoskeletal pain.” Well, that’s exactly what I have so I really hoped it would work. Before I dove in I wanted to know what was in it. A little flyer came with the tube and clearly stated it contained turmeric, willow bark, holy basil, rosemary extract, alpha lipoic acids, ginger and boswellia extracts. I’ve always been interested in herbal remedies so these herbs were familiar to me as anti-inflammatories.

Noxicare claims to be:

  • Natural
  • Non-greasy
  • Paraben-Free
  • Effective
  • Odorless
  • Safe

From what I could see in the ingredients it is indeed natural in it’s composition.  Safety is relative and would take a much longer trial period and medical testing that were not within my realm of knowledge or reach, but compared to synthesized drugs I did believe it is a safer alternative.  It is very nice that it is paraben-free.  The rest of these claims would have to be put to the test by personally using the product, so, here we go:

My Experience With Noxicare Natural Topical Pain Relief

The Noxicare cream has no odor.  The cream is easy to rub in and is not too watery nor is it greasy.  It has a slight yellowish tint to it, I assume because of the turmeric, that will leave a yellowish cast on light color clothing if you do not allow it to dry completely before putting on your clothing.  Though it is not greasy I would advise against walking barefoot on hard surfaces after you’ve put it on your feet because like with any cream it is still slick.

In my first use I concentrated on two areas – my hips and the bottom of my left foot.  My hips have been a problem for me for many  years as they tend to twist out of alignment and pull my muscles in the lower back into an unnatural position.  My left foot recently has experienced some burning, not athletes foot kind of burning, but nerve pain after a strange occurence of swelling and pain in my metatarsals a few months back.  It got so bad that my foot and leg swelled up to the knee.  After that was gone I was left with a terrible burning sensation on the pad of my foot and the three middle toes.  I had tried my mom’s ultrasonic massager on my foot to no avail and have been trying anything to take away the discomfort.

Noxicare’s instructions are to rub the cream into the affected area 2 to 3 times daily.  That first day I did just that with my foot and my lower back and hips.  In my hips I noticed a slight relaxation and relief but I have a feeling it would take several days of treatment to make me feel ‘normal’ since that is a deep set problem.  Where I noticed the most significant and impressive relief was on the bottom of my foot.  After the first application, within about 15 minutes the pain was gone which I thought was amazing.  What really took the cake was that I didn’t feel pain on the bottom of my left foot and my little toes for the NEXT TWO DAYS!!!  How’s that for effective.

As far as my hips go, there was some subsiding of pain, but I think I need to go to the chiropractor to get an adjustment before I try to make an assessment in earnest.  I did try the cream on my neck and shoulders.  My DH was kind enough to treat the area first with the ultrasound machine and then massage the Noxicare onto my neck and shoulder on my right side.  The muscles had gotten so knotted up you could find what felt like marbles in my neck and shoulders.  The pain was so intense that I could barely grasp anything or sleep soundly without pain radiating down my arm.  Well, after the ultrasound and massage with Noxicare Natural Pain Relief cream I was able to go about my day without numbness or pain in my arm for the rest of the weekend.  Since then any time I start to feel tightness in my shoulder or neck I massage the area with Noxicare and so far it’s helped to prevent the extreme pain I was in before.

I type a lot.  If you are a blogger or work in an office you probably do too.  A massage of Noxicare on my wrists and forearms is very refreshing after a long day of typing, clicking, writing, cooking, cleaning, washing and being a mommy.  Sometimes I have to concentrate on massaging the muscles between my thumb and forefinger and my knuckles to relieve the tension that forms.  The Noxicare so far has been doing a great job of keeping the intense stress in my hands at bay and the tendinitis in my right arm under control.

There were some days that I wished I had a vat of this cream to relax in with cup of hot cocoa (or a glass of wine) so I could relax and forget all my troubles.  Short of marinating myself in the cream I used it in every place that I had pain and it worked for me.  I even tried some on my mom’s shoulders and neck and she said she felt relief.
