A hospital live-tweeted a C-section delivery on Wednesday, giving followers an educational — but graphic — look at one way human life begins.

Lucero De La Tierra‘s insight:

How much information is too much?  Yesterday an unnamed 39-year-old woman had her c-section live-Tweeted for the world to see.  The first of it’s kind of live-tweet event it promises to be graphic.  This is not for the faint of heart.

This brings me to the question, How far is too far?  Just because we can do something doesn’t mean we should do it.  This goes back to my earlier post about what seems to be our growing morbid curiosity.

Granted this event is probably very educational and a must see for anyone considering going into the medical field.  If you want to be a nurse, surgeon, ob-gyn or even a general practitioner I can see how getting a glimpse of events like this would be beneficial for your coffers of information.  Personally, I don’t have the stomach for watching things like this.  That is precisely the reason I chose not to pursue a medical career.
