I received a text from GrooveBook today informing me that they are going to be on Shark Tank tomorrow night (1/10/104 @ 9 EST)!  Watching what the celebrity investors have to say about the business and what they offer will be interesting.   I have a feeling they’ll get a deal.  More and more I’m seeing print media and advertising in complimentary businesses.   For instance a few weeks ago a saw their ad plastered on all the tables at a local Menchie’s frozen yogurt shop.  This is smart marketing because the markets for each overlap. Just from casual observation I’ve noticed that families with children and young people that use their cell phones for taking loads and loads of pictures are a big part of the market that patronize frozen yogurt parlors.

How the service works –

– Download the GrooveBook app on your Android or iOS device

– Enter your name and address and payment information (for the $2.99 which includes shipping) and use code GETINTOTHEGROOVE for the referral code.

– Review your photos and select 100 from your gallery you’d like to have printed.

– Upload the photos.

– In two to three weeks you’ll have a 100 page photo book on glossy photo paper with each picture serrated so it can be easily removed and shared.

You can also order extra books of the same set and have them sent to different addresses. All you pay the $2.99; no extra hidden handling charges :).

I have so many old photos that have never been printed that I found a way to get them into GrooveBook. I select 100 old pics and copy them to the DCIM folder on my Android phone. Once I upload them to the photo book I can delete them from my phone. It feels good to have albums getting filled with pics of my babies that I can show off and share. Their pictures are no longer trapped in an electronic prison.

Don’t forget to use my referral code: GETINTOTHEGROOVE
