Exfoliate with #Exfolimate – Skincare Tool Review

If you’ve read my blog at all you’ll know that I am concerned about the accumulation of dry skin on my forehead that started happening in my late 20s. Now in my mid-30s it’s just gotten worse. Sadly, I do also still suffer with blackheads and breakouts. Cleansing, truly cleaning, my skin is essential. I need my skin on my face and body to be a primed canvas for the skin care regime of creams and serums I apply to improve it’s texture and suppleness.

I found that scrubbing too vigorously with washcloths or loofas did little to actually exfoliate the layers of dead dry skin on my body.  Instead of leaving my skin cleansed and rejuvenated my skin was left irritated and more prone to breakouts. I confess using tools not intended for skin care and much to my disservice, like the back of a pair of scissors or an aluminum ruler – not recommended.

The Exfolimate exfoliation tool is super simple, yet so very effective.  With a clean and polished metal edge that’s not too sharp you can easily remove dry skin, black heads and excess oils from your face and body.  The small size is perfect for the face.  The larger size makes it easier to do all over exfoliation on the arms, legs and back.  One thing I wish is that there was a handle that the larger exfoliator could be snapped into so that I could exfoliate my back without assistance.  The waterproof lanyards and beads attached to the tool allow it to be simply hung in the shower making it as conveniently accessible as your razor or shampoo.

I’ve really enjoyed using the Exfolimate tools.  The amount of dry skin I’m able to remove every time leaves me in awe and lets me know that this is a regimen that needs to continue indefinitely.  The edge of the blade is microgrooved which assists in making every swipe across your skin  more effective.  Cleaning the tool is really easy too – just rinse it or wipe it clean and let it hang to dry.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
