InsideSmarts Delicates #Laundry Bag Set Review

Thanks to InsideSmarts I received a set of 4 luxury laundry wash bags for review.  Most delicates bags I have and have tried in the past have very wide openings in the mesh and the zipper pull tab has a tendency to get stuck in the side of my dryer tumbler and eventually get torn off.  Also, I have others with draw string closures which are not secure and get tangled around my other laundry.  As a woman with two young daughters who all wear tights or pantyhose the use of a laundry bag for delicates is a must.

From the company:

Your Laundry. Done Smarter.

1) Delicates Laundry Bag Perfection.
If you’ve tried any ordinary laundry wash bags, you’ll notice the InsideSmarts difference in no time. These #1 Rated Wash Bags are made of premium-grade mesh that makes them as strong & durable as they are luxurious & smooth.

2) Everything in its Place.
This popular lingerie wash bag set ships to you with 4 Luxury Wash Bags (2 medium, 2 large). Keep like-colors separated using the 3 white wash bags for light-colored loads, and the 1 large black bag for dark-colored items.

3) Every Wash: Quiet & Safe.
Zippered mesh laundry bags can be noisy, but not this new, 2015 Delicates Wash Bag design. Slip the rustproof zipper under the smart zipper guard to protect & ensure a quiet, snag-free wash.

What I like:

The fact that there are two sizes is a plus. My girls little tights and socks don’t require a large bag. The small bag is great for single items as well. I can use the large bags to wash delicate blouses and even dresses, depending on the fabric. I even started using the larger bags to hold all my socks together in the wash. It makes matching socks later much easier. The mesh is so tight that my bra hooks can’t snag it. The bags have a zipper closure instead of a drawstring! The little elastic holder for the zipper pull tab keeps it from begin pulled open, getting stuck in the dryer tumbler or getting pulled off in the wash. It can be tempting to shove these super full, but if it looks like a pillow when you’re done loading it your items won’t get washed well nor will with dry completely. I’d suggest filling it no more than three quarters of the way, but not packed in.

What I didn’t like:

Because the mesh was so tight if there were any particles of dust or lint on the items in the bag it stayed in the bag. The items did get washed, but if I overfilled the bag they came out very wrinkled and linty. The second obviously is more user error than any kind of defect or problem with the product.

Overall, I really do like the InsideSmarts Delicates Laundry bags. I use them every time I do a wash whether it’s for tights and socks or slips or anything else I don’t want torn or damaged in the laundry. These laundry bags are available on Amazon.
