Kitchen Supreme French Press for #Coffee and Tea – Complete Bundle Review

imageI received a complimentary sample for the purposes of review.  The French Press is definitely a hands on process.  There were no instructions on how to take the Kitchen Supreme French Press apart or put it back together so it took some trial and error to figure out how to install the extra filter screens.  Once I figured it out it was easy to follow the included brewing instructions.  Even with three filter screens inserted there was still a lot of sediment that came through.  I guess this is to be expected when there is no paper filter.

Having this manual coffee brewing method available is a plus because, frankly, kitchen appliances these days are not reliable.  It’s not so much about flavor or quality for me as it is about convenience and availability.  The day I received the Kitchen Supreme French Press our single cup coffee machine died.  With the French Press I was able to make coffee even though my machine was dead.  Since then I’ve used it to brew loose leaf tea for Kombucha.  To prevent excess sediment I typically strain the brew sieve lined with a paper filter.  It’s an extra step but it keeps the brew clear of floaters or sediment.
