I’d been looking and looking for ways to improve the health of my good teeth and that’s when I started learning about dental remineralization. Some claim that remineralizing teeth through natural means can prevent and even reverse the damage caused by dental caries. This was very intriguing to me though it was too late for the three teeth that needed pulled or fixed. Out of the corner of my eye I saw an ad for something called The Dirt. When I clicked on it the link took me to a video of people trying this spiced bentonite clay powdered tooth cleaner that had helped some to remove stains from their teeth.[/dropshadowbox]

So, I started shopping around.  Next thing I knew I was on the Thrive Market website.  I had shared my email address before but had never purchased anything.  When I looked in my account info it turned out I had a $10 credit from what promotion I don’t know.  Then it dawned on me that there had to be an email in my inbox from Thrive with their current deal.  Lo and behold there sure was – a free jar of Justin’s Almond Butter (S&H only $1.95), $10 off the first order AND free shipping!  I couldn’t hesitate anymore.

The Dirt and two probiotic cultures from Culture’s for Health ended up in my cart bringing my total after discount to just a smidge over $21.  The Dirt alone is $19.99 (on Thrive – it’s $29.99 on givemethedirt.com)  for the 51 gram 6 month supply.  If I had to purchase these items on their websites separately they would have cost me –

The Dirt –                                $29.99 + $3 shipping = $32.99

Real Water Kefir Grains –    $18.99 + $7.99 shipping = $26.98

Real Kombucha Scoby –                                              $14.99

Justin’s Almond Butter –      $13.99 + $5.95 shipping = $19.94

Total with shipping and handling from three different websites = $94.90 (OMG)

I tried finding all the items on Amazon and they didn’t have The Dirt trace mineral tooth powder in stock plus with the prices of the other three my total (even with Prime shipping) was still $43.39.  So when you think about it shopping for your health care supplements, organic and allergen free foods on Thrive is a no brainer.  They offer great discounts on the things you already buy, plus are regularly sending offers for free or deeply discounted items.

At first when I read that the annual membership for Thrive was $59.95.  It threw me a bit for a loop until I looked at how much I’d be spending to purchase the same goods elsewhere – even sites with discounted pricing and free shipping can’t match the deal I got on Thrive.  Plus, as a member you get referral credits for each person who joins using your referral link – so please, if you’re interested please click my link – we both benefit.  You can try their online store out for 30 days at no charge and if you want to continue as a customer then your card will be charged the yearly membership amount.

Joining their website not only entitles you to great deals, but it also helps them fulfill their further mission of helping families in need. When you join you are sponsoring a free membership for a low-income family. All-in-all the membership costs less than $5 and if you are ordering things you’d already be ordering anyway everyone wins.

Thrive Market is currently available to residents of the contiguous United States.  Currently, they do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or Canada.
