Oreo Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory

Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple

Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple (ok, ok, it's not the Oreo - read on)

Just a day after cheesecake factory features the Adams peanut butter cup fudge ripple cheesecake on their Facebook page my DH got the chance to eat at a Cheesecake Factory! I know I’m trying to lose weight but a little taste of cheesecake won’t kill me especially if I’ve been careful the rest of the day. With fingers crossed that DH would walk in the door with a piece of cheesecake for the girls and I to share, I looked up nutritional information.

I had to do some serious digging because Cheesecake Factory doesn’t post their nutrition info on their corporate website. Finally, I found the full menu on a site run by NutriSoft. When I found the Adams cheesecake in the list I just about fell over. It has a whopping 1300 calories per slice!!! That was 60 calories more than my budget for the day!

I’m sure you’ve noticed that the above title so far hasn’t matched the contents. Well, ok, we didn’t get the peanut butter ripple, BUT he was nice enough to bring us a piece of Oreo Cheesecake. It wasn’t what I was craving but I was just thankful that DH had us on his mind and brought us something yummy.

Calorie wise it turned out better as well at only 880 calories. We cut it in half and then in half again so I only had a quarter of the piece and we have more left for tomorrow. DH said this Oreo Cheesecake was sold with the added benefit of donating to charity which made me feel good too.
