I know it looks like I landed face first in a vat of tar, but it’s something much sweeter. Klout.com sent me some Freeman masks to try out as a perk. This one is the Charcoal & Black Sugar. My face was in dire need of exfoliation so I decided to give it a try. The mask went on easy without being too sticky or oily and had a very mild, pleasant aroma. When I applied it to my damp face I immediately perceived a gentle warming sensation. With the extra few minutes, 5-7, while the mask worked on my face I massaged the excess product left on my fingers into my dry hands. As dry as it’s been it felt good to give my hands a bit of a pampering as well. Afterward I massaged the mask into my face making sure to concentrate on my forehead, nose and chin sine those get the most buildup of dead skin. What I realized is that I have to do this more often. Allowing that dry skin to build up only dulls your look, doesn’t allow makeup to blend evenly and tends to get flaky. The Charcoal & Black Sugar mask left my skin feeling fresher, smoother and nicely moisturizer without feeling oily. I would definitely buy this mask to use again. Thanks to Klout for sending it to me to try out.
