My daughters and I all have long hair and tangles are always an issue. Whether it’s from wind, running and playing, swimming or washing the hair it inevitably gets really, really tangled. I found out the hard way that the Crave Naturals brush is not effective for us on dry hair. I don’t know if it’s the configuration of the bristles, their lengths and placement or what but we experienced the formation of more and tighter tangles which led to lots of tears when using this detangling brush.

I even tried allowing my girls to use the brush themselves to see if it made a difference.  It did.  It made things worse, especially for my older daughter.  The top layers of her hair would get brushed through only to leave the lower layers near the nape of the neck and the sensitive area of the scalp in shambles.  The knots would be so thick and tight I had to get a different brush to finish the job.  The Crave Naturals brush isn’t all bad though.20140528_223239-MOTION

The Crave Naturals Brush was fan-freaking-tastic on wet hair. I’ve NEVER had more success with any other brush or comb on wet hair. My oldest daughter has always had lots of thick hair that tangles easily even once conditioned. This brush so far is the only tool I’ve been able to use to detangle her hair after a shower or bath without her yelping in pain. I don’t understand why such a difference, but it is our go to brush after getting out of the pool, bath or shower.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
