Paradise Coconut Oil #theravita Review

A few years ago I started using coconut oil for the health benefits. It’s good for the skin, brain, metabolism and a natural antibiotic. The only problem I kept running into is that it had a distinct almost over powering odor of coconut or worse. Also after long periods of heat exposure the flavor became off-putting. The ones that smell and tasted strongly of coconut I had to use only for cold preparations like smoothies or for topical use.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the TheraVita Paradise Coconut Oil was it’s complete lack of odor. For me this made it ideal for cooking since it did not interfere with the flavors of other ingredients. I use it in place of butter, shortening, and olive oil.

I made a batch of zucchini gluten free tortillas using the oil. Since it is solid at lower than 76 degrees Fahrenheit I thought it would bea suitable substitute to margarine as long as I didn’t overwork the dough. The dough was a little more soft than I expected but they still worked out well.
