Today is day 7 of my workout regimen and I think I’m going to rest a bit and recover. Tomorrow I’m going to pick up the pace a bit and do the “Start It Up” video workout from Beach Body’s Slim In 6 routine. It’s about 25 minutes with a warm-up, cardio/sculpting, and cool-down stretch.
It was a good weekend. We took Yeyda, that’s how she says her name, grocery shopping with us. She loves riding around in the cart. Then we ate at Chipotle Grill (inexpensive and yummy). While we were there mom and dad called us while we were eating and told us they finally felt they were in Hawaii. They rented a car and were driving around Oahu. (I had to text my brother today to wish my parents “Happy Anniversary”. It was neat that the trip coincided with their 30th anniversary.) Afterwards we took her to Cold Stone Creamery for a reward after four “perfect potty” days.
It’s nice that we don’t have to pay full price for her yet. When we have the chance and a little extra money we like to take her to see a movie. There haven’t been many good ones out lately. When we saw “Horton Hears a Who” was playing at a nearby Cinema Grill we wanted to take her. She seemed to enjoy the movie, but the ugly vulture with teeth freaked her out a bit. I was actually surprised she didn’t have nightmares last night. I think that the fact we got to see her aunt BeeSue and uncle Toddy got her mind off the psycho bird.
What do you think of Dr. Seuss’ story “Horton Hears a Who”?
