If you are thinking about buying a tablet computer, then you should probably compare it to the productivity and convenience you get from a laptop. After all, your tablet is unlikely to replace your smartphone and it would be great if you could carry one less device, not one more.     There are several people that I know that love their tablets. I didn’t think I wanted one when they first came out, but I’m considering on getting one sometime. It would come in handy when traveling, because I hate carrying my laptop around.

    You have pointed out some very useful things which can become a reason why people might prefer tablet over a laptop. But personally I prefer to have a laptop as in laptop, writing becomes much easier and it has much more capacity for multitasking. Still preferences may vary according to needs and work capacity.
