Today’s Nablopomo prompt was – Does blogging bring out the best or worst in you?
Though I do share certain things about my life blogging for me is not intended to be a public diary. I have never kept a diary or personal journal. Anything written down can be used against you. That may seem like paranoid thinking but how many of you have had your mom or sister or even best friend read your diary and make your life miserable for what they found inside. Blogging for me is a way to reflect on things that make me happy and make me feel productive. The creative juices that failed me in the art department are making their way onto the lines of this blog. There is a sense of satisfaction in describing eloquently how you feel about your favorite hobby, activism, belief, or product. I’m not here to create controversy. I’m here to share and inform and listen. Yes, I read all your comments. They are much appreciated. I guess for me blogging brings out the best in me and reminds me of the good things I have in life. If you blog, how does it affect you? Are you Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde online?
Firstly, I’m a mom and wife. Professionally, IT consulting is my job and blogging is the outlet for my passions. I write about things that affect the everyday life of a stay-at-home parent or any parent for that matter such as parenting, relationships, discipline, the media, product reviews, giveaways, social media, food, cooking, gardening and anything else that might come my way.
