Making sure my digestive system is working in proper order is a priority for me. From the time I was a young girl my mom always made sure we had plenty of fruits and vegetables in our diet. As a teenager I learned that even with a healthy diet there is a need to do a cleansing so that your body can continue functioning optimally. I suffered with the effects of a backed up liver and digestive system for about 9 months before we figured out what the problem was. Once I did a detoxification and cleansing all the symptoms I was having in my lungs and on my skin went away. Now I try to maintain my detoxification regimen on a fairly regular basis so that that doesn’t happen again.

This Detox formula from Justified Labs does work, but you have to be careful. If you are looking for something that has a laxative effect overnight, like psyllium or senna, then this is not the supplement for you. This actually surprised me because it has both Cape Aloe and Cascara Sagrada which both do a great job of “getting things moving”. Taking this late in the evening ended up having the opposite effect on me and made me very, very thirsty. That being said, definitely take it earlier in the day, maybe around lunch time, and make sure you drink plenty of water through the day. I took this supplement over a seven day period two different times and I had varying results. Sometimes I felt better and sometimes I felt worse – I do believe it was more due to the timing of my taking it and whether or not I had enough to drink. When I did drink plenty of water it did it’s job beautifully and I felt refreshed.
