Over the weekend my DH was able to finish stubbing in some new plumbing in the bathroom and he had an idea. He asked if I’d like to make a time capsule of sorts with some items that would be neat for us or someone else to find 20 or 30 years from now when they tear out the wall again. Assuming that will happen they are going to find a few interesting items that will probably look silly to the standards of the day.
In the old cookie tin that I have had for over 10 years – I had it before I got married – I placed one of DD2’s diapers, my old cell phone, a floppy disk with family pictures from November 2008 to February 21, 2009 that include before pictures of the bathroom, some printed newspaper front pages from Newseum.com, my DH’s boutonierre from his niece’s wedding and his business card.
What would you put in a time capsule? Where would you hide it?
