Trying to maintain the health of your electronics, especially your computer, can be daunting if you don’t know where to start. programs regularly add temporary files and even when uninstalling they can leave behind registry entries that can clog up the works. It’s like saving all the socks without a pair in your sock drawer and mixing them all together with your good socks. How long would it take you to find a good pair. Either you would have to get up early or you would always be late for work.
My PC is three years old. I use it A LOT. I’m always looking for ways to declutter the hard drive. Amigabit Power Booster promises to clean, declutter, and enhance performance. Unfortunately, I never received the full version of the program. Using the trial from their website I was able to use the program to remove rogue registry entries, test the security of the system, remove temporary files and continuously monitor PC health.
It worked reasonably well for the cleaning operations. To my dismay I found that allowing Amigabit to run in the background caused my operating system to slow. It completely defeated the purpose it was installed for in the first place.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
