Aside from the fact that my Samsung Galaxy S4 was still under contract with Verizon, the newly released s5 was not so different that I was compelled to purchase their new release. I was at least hoping for drastically improved battery life like some newer LG models or an awesome camera, but I was left to wait. My S4 is two years old now and it still works well. As long as I keep the cache clean and stop downloading every interesting app I see (my brother calls me an app-hole ;-P) it runs smoothly. A better battery would be nice, but it’s hanging in there. A new phone is always nice though.
