Do you love to draw? Always finding yourself doodling in the margins of every notebook, textbook or napkin in front of you? Whether you are drawing for pleasure or for work it can be a rewarding, cathartic experience.

Personally, I feel my drawing skills are lacking.  My mother on the other hand is quite gifted at drawing both with or without a model to follow.  What amazes me about how she draws is the precision in her ability to render a face.  I’ve tried but my attempts turn out looking like soulless ghouls instead of beautiful, happy faces.  Yet, my daughter likes how I draw and want me to illustrate some stories she’s written.  Oh, boy.  I feel I’m in over my head.

Thankfully, help is on the way.

If you are looking for ways to improve your drawing or take your skills to the next level then check out these new titles from Quarry Books and Walter Foster Publishing.
