In the Influenster Spring Fever #VoxBox I received a full size Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Gelastic Ultra strong flexible gel. OSiS Gelastic is an ultrastrong flex gel that provides all day definition and control and dries with a firm finish. It retails for $18.00.
My hair is naturally curly so I thought this would be a good fit for my style. I tried this on my wet hair and styled it as usual – flip my head over and scrunch while drying on low with a big diffuser. It worked OK. My hair felt like it typically does when I use a curl enhancing mousse and a hairspray. As the day went on and my hair completely dried I noticed a weird film on my hair. It looked like I had rubbed snot in my hair. It think it was intended to be brushed out. That day I was a little wary about brushing it out because I had places to be and I was afraid I’d end up with HUGE frizzy, fluffy hair.
Next time I’m going to try the style suggested on the card that came with the bottle –
Steps:
1. Apply OSiS Gelastic to wet hair and pin curl your hair in large sections.
2. Dry with diffuser or let hair air dry.
3. Remove the pin curls and brush out.
Final Look: Soft and bouncy curls.
My first impression was that the Gelastic smelled very good – not too fruity or too perfumed but very clean. It was a little sticky for my taste, but I didn’t have too use a lot to style my hair.
