Thanks to Sverve and Fysiko I was able to use the Fysiko Lash Growth Serum for 16 weeks. This is a liquid to be used from once to twice a day on the upper lashes only and in a very small amount. I started the first week applying it only in the evening after washing my face. The second week I began applying it in the morning and in the evening after I washed my face. I did notice some irritation, dryness, itchiness, and slight burning that week. I thought nothing of it and continued using the serum.
After two weeks (three weeks total) of continuous use twice a day I had to suspend my use of the serum in order to allow my eyelids and my vision to return to normal. The burning and itching got to be so intense I was unable to read comfortably or even drive safely because the irritation was so intense. Upon re-reading the instructions that came with the serum I noticed it said that any irritation such as itching, burning or swelling of the eyelids was due to overuse and it would take 3 to 4 days for the side effects to go away. So for the fourth week I did not use the Fysiko eyelash serum at all. It was during this time that I noticed that there had been little to no change in the length or thickness of my eyelashes. Needless to say I was very disappointed that there was no change since it was touted as able to noticeably increase lash thickness and length in as little as three weeks. During the fifth week I continued to use the Fysiko Lash Growth serum because I had agreed to the 16 week trial. Since two applications per day were causing me such issues I continued only using it once per day. The initial instructions for the Fysiko Serum were to use it for six weeks straight, twice per day and then once or twice a week for the remaining time. Since the changes I was experiencing were very small and most of them negative I only used it once a day but continued using it every day in the hopes that I would start to see longer thicker lashes.
There were a few times that I tried applying it twice a day again but the results were not good. By the next morning my eyelids were starting to swell and I had itching and watering of the eyes. I had to go back to applying that the serum only once per day. It was finally at about 10 weeks that I started to notice a change in my lashes. My outer lashes were starting to curl on their own and seemed a little bit longer. Still I was no where near being able to go out in public without mascara.
Now after 16 weeks of using the eyelash growth serum I can see some improvement in the thickness and slightly longer length in my lashes. It’s nowhere near the miraculous changes that I was expecting after seeing reviews by others. I had to be realistic that I’m probably in the 4% that does not see great results using even this all natural product from Beauty Essentials. I’m very grateful to Sverve and to Beauty Essentials for sharing this Fysiko eyelash growth serum with me for the purposes of this review. Unfortunately, from my experience I cannot recommend spending $139 for this lash growth serum.
