When you are trying to manage your weight more effectively it’s always best to know how your daily and weekly habits affect your body. Changes in diet, exercise and water consumption can all affect your weight. I’m horrible about writing down my weight as I take it. Knowing the exact shift up or down day to day or week to week can be helpful.
The Weight Gurus digital bathroom scale provides a way to take and track your weight in a way that makes the most sense to you. The scale allows you to enter 8 separate users with a fairly simple procedure to switch between them. I’ve discovered that this is not effective if you have small children who like to use the scale. If you use the scale in straight weight mode this doesn’t interfere with anything. Though it does become a problem when you use the mode that shows you the change in weight from you previous weigh in. You can imagine my surprise when the scale told me I’d gained over 100 lbs. At first I thought it was just goofing up until I realized that my 5 year old daughter had weighed in earlier in the day thus negating my previous meaurement.
It became evident right away that I needed to switch modes and allow the smartphone app to do the change calculations for me. At the end of every weigh in a type of QR code pops up on the display. This is scanable from within the Weight Gurus phone app. It transmits your current weigh in information to the app.
The app keeps track of how often you weigh in and tells you your best number of consecutive entries. Also it allows you to pick your desired mode in app whether it’s to know how much has been gained or lost or your actual measures. I like using the measures option because it shows me both the number and how much has changed overall from my first entry.
The Weight Gurus scale is available on Amazon. The accompanying smartphone app is available for free download from the Google Play Store.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
