Fish is not a predominate feature of my daily diet. This precludes my sources of Omega 3 fatty acids which are good for heart and circulatory health. Thanks to Nordic Naturals I got to try a bottle of Ultimate Omega gelcaps.
Though the gel capsules are fairly large they are easy to take. I was concerned at first that I’d have fishy burps because the source of Omega-3 is purified deep sea fish oil from anchovies and sardines. It was essential that they be taken with food to prevent this. Not once during my trial period did I experience a fishy aftertaste or burps. The natural lemon flavor was strong enough to mask the fish taste. It was impressive that the only preservative used was natural rosemary extract. I wish more products would use natural preservatives.
