Everyone has stress. Learning to deal with stress and a poor mood effectively can be the difference between a great day and success and having the worst day ever. Some people unfortunately seem to live in a bad mood. Lacking the proper tools to handle their disappointments, annoyances and frustrations only makes things worse for themselves and everyone else. Whether you need some help getting re-centered or you have a friend or acquaintance that could use some grumpy pants treatment you should try out the natural essential oil remedy from NativOrganics called MoodBliss. I received a complimentary bottle for the purposes of review.
Last year my mom received a bottle of relaxation combination essential oils as a gift and swore by their effectiveness to calm down and fall asleep. She has trouble with insomnia and she said the aromatherapy really helped her calm her nerves. That is what encouraged me to apply for this promotion.
Lately, I’ve been having more and more trouble sleeping. I’ve discovered I grind my teeth which causes pain that in turn wakes me up and I can’t go back to sleep. Over the counter sleep aids are okay IF you take them earlier in the evening to allow the sleep cycle enough time to complete naturally. If I take it too late in the evening that I have to cut off my sleep early it makes me a bear the rest of the day. That’s where this relaxation/positive mood blend of essential oils is important. If my teeth grinding wakes me up in the middle of the night I can take a pain killer like acetaminophen or ibuprofen and add some of the NativOrganics MoodBliss oil to my pulse points like my wrists, inner elbow, the neck right below the ear and even directly under my nose at times. The calming effects of the Clary Sage, Lavender, Marjoram, Petitgrain and Ylang Ylang soon start to take hold. Instead of my mind reeling with all the thoughts of the day spent and that to come I can drift back to sleep without too much effort.
Since this is a natural combination of herbal oils in a base of Sweet Almond, Grapeseed and Jojoba Oils I don’t feel bad about using it on my kids when they are feeling a bit cranky or upset or having trouble sleeping. Even though it is an oil application it does absorb quickly and is non staining. The scent dissipates fairly quickly on my skin so I find myself having to reapply often if I use it during the day. Conversely, it is not so overpowering that it would be like wearing too much perfume. It’s pleasant herbal scent is not what I would consider floral, but has enough of a woody tone that even a man would not feel awkward using this out in public.
