Day 8 New Workout & I Feel Great

It’s day 8 and I’m still at it even after a day of rest. Today I started on the Slim in 6 routine with Debbie Seebers of Beach Body. I thought maybe I’d have to break it down into 2 workouts throughout the day, but I was able to power through and felt better for it. Even though most of the workout is plie and standard squats it didn’t make me as sore as the Thin Thighs Guaranteed workout. This makes me happy.

Tomorrow will be my weigh in day. I don’t have my hopes up. I did notice though that my jeans are fitting a little better and that is something.

BTW - Don’t forget to mail or e-file your taxes by MIDNIGHT tomorrow or the boogeyman will get you. Oh wait, no, that’s the taxman. Same difference.:-D

    It is always a struggle to get the weight off and then it takes a conscious effort to keep it off.

    Being over weight is an emotionally draining and physically draining situation to be in and many times your struggle is reduced to ridicule and insensitivity.

    The exhilaration you feel when you look back 5 months before you made a conscious effort and see positive results is truly gratifying and often creates wide smiles and happy tears.

    Losing weight can be accomplish but motivation must come from the inside to change the outside.

    You can and will do it, just never give up hope.

    Only give up the pounds and the inches.
