Sunday morning I did my darndest to get up early and exercise. I got through half of my slim-in-6 workout before I noticed that I had to stop to get ready for church… Or I’d be late – AGAIN. We did good and made it during the first song and before the opening prayer. Haven’t been that punctual in a while, but we keep trying. I vowed to get the rest of my workout in later in the afternoon, but it never happened. Tired and nauseous after lunch I lay down with Yeyda to take a nap. Three hours 😐 later I woke up still nauseous and cranky. Not good for peaceful relations.
Monday all my exercise was being a mommy. Run here, clean there, chase Yeyda and take a nap – she wouldn’t go down without me next to her.
I’ve tried to make sure that every meal includes some sort of veggie or fruit. It makes it nice that Yeyda loves broccoli and asparagus. I’ve been reading up more on monounsaturated fatty acids, coconut oil and fish oils and their benefit to the body and I’m going to try to incorporate them more into our foods. Yeyda and I have been eating almond butter and jam sandwiches as snacks instead of peanut butter and jelly. She loves it and it offers MUFAs that the PB lacks.
Tomorrow is my weigh in day and I’m rather dreading it because I have a feeling I’ve not done as well this week as last. We’ll see.
