Too Much Information – Book Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Just recently I’ve gotten back into book reviewing. I want to expand my vocabulary, unleash my imagination and have interesting things to talk about. For those of you who are used to reading fiction stories on a regular basis and like conspiracy mysteries and political thrillers you will enjoy Too Much Information.

An anomaly in a security program during routine procedures at the airport alerts a security officer that there may be a problem. There is a problem, Rosa Perez, is the problem. She’s kind, mild mannered and has a conscience. What more threatening qualities can there be when the government is trying to take away your privacy, learning sensitive data about you and NOT sharing dangerous information with you that could be critical to your health and even survival. In a time of terror threats security contractors will get in tight with the government any way they can. At any cost.

Civil rights advocate and lawyer Rob Folsom and his team come to her rescue. They have no idea what they’re in for. Spying, intrigue and manipulation the likes of which can only be orchestrated from the highest levels of corporate America and the government.

Want to find out who comes out on top? You’ll have to read Too Much Information available on Amazon.com for Kindle and the Kindle App for Android, iOS and PC.

This is a relevant story that delves into “How far is too far?” when it comes to public safety and personal privacy. We all know since 2001 travel anywhere has not been the same. When the government can “see” your insides and tell if you are ill and possibly contagious is it their responsibility to share with you what they’ve found? The story was interesting, but in all honesty it was not an easy read. It took far too many chapters to introduce key characters which left me wondering when we were going to get to “the point”. I really wish I had started taking notes from the beginning because there are SO, SO many people involved in the plot that it is difficult to keep them straight and decipher or remember what their impact on the story is. Several times something interesting or controversial would happen and those characters wouldn’t be addressed again until waaay down the line. The idea is there I just wish it were executed better.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I like that kind of story, but don’t like it when there are so many characters that I have to go back and look to see who someone is.
