Scars, discoloration, fine lines, wrinkles and stretch marks are things we women have been searching to find solutions for since the dawn of time.  One of the more extreme treatment choices I got to try thanks to Beautonics.  They sent me a 1.0 mm microneedle derma roller which is used specifically to treat the aforementioned conditions on the face and all over the body. Derma rollers work by perforating the outer surface of the skin to encourage collagen production.  Typically, the worse the issue and thicker the skin the longer the needles need to be.  Beyond 1.0 mm you are getting into clinic use only territory.

0790eb9596fc8c6896915174e1612fc7e3dfd56b The Beautonics Derma Roller came packed like Fort a Knox is locked down. This is comforting because you can be more confident that the tool is not damaged, contaminated or previously used.  BTW, don’t share derma rollers.  To use it make sure your skin is freshly cleansed and rinse the Roller in hot water.  Roll it over the desired area with gentle but firm pressure in alternating vertical, horizontal and diagonal directions for a total of 10 passes. Your skin will look red but shouldn’t feel painful. This redness indicates inflammation which encourages blood flow to the area to heal and fill.  It’s best to do this before bed or at a time you won’t be going anywhere.  Gently re-cleanse the area, apply your serums or creams of choice and rinse/sanitize your roller before storing in its protective case.  This process does not typically yield immediate results. To take advantage of the skins restorative processes and prevent excessive irritation treatment should be done no more than once a week.  Every two to three weeks would be better. This is certainly not for the faint of heart or the extremely ticklish.  I used it on my hips to help with stretch marks and I could barely finish.  I never realized how thin and ultra sensitive the skin there was.  The irritation lasted 2 days before subsiding. I’m going to keep using the roller though in the hopes to see a reduction in those stretch marks. FROM THE COMPANY:

You wouldn’t think this kind of a tool would do this! Will have to give this a try sometime.

This looks like it would be worth a try, though I do have sensitive skin so I probably would just use it very lightly at first; thanks for posting!
